For May last 2-D art project I choose to do a stipe painting. I am most proud of how well I positioned the slanted lines. My process to complete this project was forst to paint the canvas. I painted the canvas a lime green and added some white to make the piece look textured. I think used masking tape and put strips of tape, slanted all the way to the other end. Once I had my tape down, I painted the whole canvas blue. Once the blue paint had dryer, I peeled off the tape and had my blue spires. For another one of my 2-D art projects I decided to do crayon art. I am most proud of how the layouts I chose to do. My process to complete this project was first decide my layout. I had to decide and look at different ideas for how to arrange my crayons. I then had to use a hot glue gun to glue the crayons down on to the canvas. On the crayon art below, I hit a few bumps along the way. I had to rip off the glued down crayons and re-position them on the canvas. Because I had to take the crayons off the canvas it left some spots on the canvas that I had to paint over with gesso. Gesso is the white paint that a canvas comes with. After I glued the crayons on to the canvas I used a hair dryer to melt the crayons. If I wanted the crayon wax to go a certain direction, I had to tilt the canvas that way. My favorite crayon art I did the bottom picture. That crayon art is my favorite, because I really like the layout I chose. I am most proud of how the final products turned out. |
I am most proud of how the Circles turned out. I was surprised to know how hard it was to find the right circle size. I also really like the colors I chose. I found that the coloring was quite time consuming. At first I thought it was going to be a quick and easy project, but it took me awhile to color and complete.
This is my second 2-D art project. I am most proud of how all the colors and shapes came together. I really like the colors I chose, because I feel like they all really went together very nice. I also really like that I left some white on the picture, I thought it really added effect to the whole piece. The process to make his picture was a long process. I fist had to come up with an idea of what to even to my 2-D art project on. I looked up some simple patterns/designs, and this was one of the top five ideas I found. I used a ruler to make all the straight edges. When I first drew it, I didn't catch on that certain lines connected just not in the same spot. So once I drew the second one to make the row drawings connect, I caught on to the pattern. Once if finished drawing it, I finally moved on to coloring it. Coloring this was probably one of the most easiest parts of this drawing. I was surprised to realize how much detail went into drawing this picture. |
This is my third 2-D art project. I am most proud of how well the pictures turned out. I really like the layout I ended up choosing, because it left room for me to add her name. The process to design this project really wasn't to complicate unlike others. I first started out by taking a lot of pictures. I then went through all my pictures and decided which were the best ones. I ended up choosing these five to the left. My favorite picture is the very top picture right by her name. I feel like it really brings out her personality. |
